Taken from recordings between 2002 and 2004, the Peel Sessions show this stoner band at their full distorted best. Allowed free reign these guys tear it up and show why they are considered one of the leaders of the 90's version of this genre. Eddie Glass really lets loose on these sessions and devotes this disc to guitar run after guitar run with the chunky riffs that all Black Sabbath fans know and love so well in between. Fans of Hendrix style guitar will also love this disc. It may have come after the new millennium, but it could just have been as easily plucked out of the late 60's era.
The funny thing about this disc, the more you listen to it, the more addictive it becomes. Eddie Glass may not be well known for his playing but he shows here that he is actually one helluva guitarist! With downtuned grungy proficiency, Glass gives a gem of a performance. All in all, this is a very good representation of an almost ignored corner of the rock and roll world.
