Blood Drunk: ...and the VIOLENCE continues

Blood Drunk is to music what Jigsaw and Michael Myers is to the movies. They make no bones about it. Pain, suffering, murder and the occasional "Fat Lip" are the chosen world that Blood Drunk wishes to drag you into and bash your face in with. Trying to be the next Meshuggah but falling way short, they need something to bring them some kind of notoriety good or bad. Glorification of violence in such a crude and uninteresting manner is their attempt to make up for the very basic musical ability shown here. Other than a few cool guitar solos and an intro to the album that makes you think something good is in store, there is not much that you haven't heard before. Add to that Jon Tofte and his death metal growl that is delivered in such a monotone manner throughout, you will be glad that the EP is only 25 very long minutes! If you just want a senseless beating, this is the album for you. Others beware.
