A very speedy effort is what L.A.'s Hardcore band, Terror have in store for you. The Damned, The Shamed (Century Media) is a fierce and frenzied CD from the first note, to the last. Featuring frontman Scott Vogel, Terror waste no time slaying the listener with this aural metallic assault. Strap in.
13 tracks of short, no bullshit songs that instantly brings to mind a combo of old school Agnostic Front and Biohazard meets the modern day power of a Hatebreed or Killswitch Engage. Songs like "Rise of the Poisoned Youth" are sure to strike a chord with most Hardcore/Metal fans. Check out "Never Alone" with it's all out Metal groove and its killer breakdown…nice! Sheer brutality is in store with some heavy Mosh Pit anthems. Lace up the boots.
This record is just hard not to bang that head to. Groove & attitude heavy, Terror just nails it down all throughout The Damned, The Shamed. The guitars just scream power and the super tight rhythm section just crushes. This is a more Metal record than past efforts, and they are better for it. The mix of more Metal to their already angry Hardcore style just makes this a hard to put down CD. It Slams! I dare you to NOT find yourself moving to this CD, it's impossible. This is a must listen to Hardcore record!!
