Metal Mind Productions has given us all a treat with the re-release of this highly underrated album. Originally released in 1983, the album Court In The Act was way ahead of it's time. Now looked upon as one of the major influences of today's metal, Satan was just too good for their time! With the unique vocal style of Brian Ross leading the way, Satan gives you a dose of what would become known as speed metal in the future. The twin guitars of Russ Tippins and Steve Ramsey provide a magical array of metal might and fury.
After an eerie intro, these metal pioneers hit you full force with the powerful "Into The Fire". Aptly named, this song gives you a taste of what to expect over the following tunes on the disc. Scorching guitar work where the pair takes turns dazzling you with their prowess. For fans of great metal, this is a forgotten gem that luckily has been brought out for all too really appreciate it for what it is. If anyone doubts what I say, just take a close listen to the instrumental "Dark Side Of Innocence". Tippins and Ramsey are very talented players who deserve to be recognized.
Metalheads rejoice! This is one that you will really enjoy. It is an important piece in the history of metal music and should not be forgotten. Thank you Metal Minds!!
