Liturgy: Immortal Life

Am I glad this piece of garbage lasts 14:23! This is easily the worst CD I've heard in years! You know, I'm pretty open minded in music and arts in general. I like Black Metal just about as much as I like Uncle Frank, but man when I hear crap, I am sure glad it does not last too long. Immortal Life , the creation of one Hunter Hunt-Hendrix, sounds like some kids, stoned out of their head, broke into a studio, took a drum machine, some guitars and a microphone, turn everything to maximum and recorded the next 14-15 minutes nonstop, before the cops ran in and arrested them. This is noisy, noisy and a real bad listening experience. You have some music (unbelievable) to decipher amongst that mess. The tremolo pickings and a bit of arpeggios are forming the 2-3 minutes of harmonies buried under that noise. Even if those are repetitive, they kept this 'recording' from being a total piece of crap.

To avoid by any means! Nobody needs this in their collection!
