Callenish Circle :My Passion, Your Pain

In my opinion, things don't get much heavier than this--cool melodies, great guitar sounds and beats that are dead-on with the musical cash. Six-stringers Muuk and Ron carry riffing into the state-of-the art with the opening "Soul Messiah" and don't relent until "Your Pain" brings things to a close nearly 50 minutes later. Along the way there are cool nods to Master Of Puppets ("Forsaken") as well as, ahem, quieter moments such as "This Truculent Path." "My Hate Unfolds," which comes about midway through the disc adds a little bit of sonic variety and depth, leaving you as chilled as anything else here.

With My Passion, Your Pain, Callenish Circle provethey're just one or two riffs away from making an album of a lifetime.

Bonus material includes a cover of Pestilence's "Out Of The Body" and a live video for "Obey Me." And more.
