Mechanical Organic: Disrepair Part Two - The Pleasure Fled

This release is basically one lengthy track and also an alternate version or radio edit, Mechanical Organic is an Australian act, this CD Disrepair Part Two - The Pleasure Fled is the third Mechanical Organic release from Eddie Katz. Eddie Katz is the lead vocalist and also handles backing harmonies, programming and keyboards, you could say his work on this CD is hard to categorize.

Hybrid metal is one genre I saw mentioned, there's heaviness at times, it's progressive, while also being melodic and ambient music. With catching performances from Eddie, combined with pleasing contributions from Connie D's fitting guitar playing and Evan Harris's bass this CD has a warm inviting feel about it. The Radio Edit is considerable shorter as you would imagine, and is basically a teaser of the seventeen plus minute track.

I found Disrepair Part Two - The Pleasure Fled a likeable release, unlike many similar CDs this one retained my attention.
