They say that music soothes the savage beast. This might be true but I have a feeling that Migdal Bavel would be more the cause of the savagery than the calming effect.
Best described as a chaotic mess of black metal noise with occasional flashes of a semblance of melody, this disc is an out of control example of something that I could use to get the unwanted houseguest to take the hint and find the door. Other than the song "Curse of Cannan" which is by far the best of the disc, this work is one that leaves me with the feeling that I need to take a shower. With no rhyme or reason, this jumble of free form noise scrapes every nerve in your body the wrong way. Maybe that is what they were going for and if so, they succeeded very well.
