Metal Mind Productions brings out another in their series of relatively obscure metal bands of the past with the re-release of this 2002 disc by Abrogation. Hailing from Germany this thrashy death metal group is a good listen but not something that is going to ever be a steady diet. They do everything OK but their music does not stand out from the crowd at all. In fact, with all the lyrics sung in German they are going to be lost in the shuffle as musically they have nothing out of the ordinary to offer either.
Their best moments come when they actually sound like they are pointing in the direction of folk metal on the song "Der Schelm" and when they travel down the thrash metal pathway on tunes like "Die Letzte Nacht". Other than those songs most of the album blends together especially when you have no lyrics to grasp hold of either.
There is nothing bad or unlistenable on the disc, it just does not grab the attention of the listener. This one is just a mediocre effort at best.
