Not that much information is available about this enigmatic Russian duo. They released quite a few albums in the past before this new work.
Visions is the type of CD you get to appreciate, and enjoy, more and more with every listen. They combine elements from Black Metal and ambient, as well as some experimental tones, while remaining quite melodic all along. What I personally really enjoy here is that many tracks are plain instrumental beauties, and great musical breaks are to be found in the actual songs too. They seem to be influenced by classical music since many of the keyboard passages have a nice symphonic edge. Many ambient tones combine with the harsher Black Metal hues in perfect harmonies throughout this album. All the compositions are good and not many bad points are to be declared. True that much of the drum programming sounds a bit mechanical and some techno beats and keys are present, but nothing horrible as such. My overall favorite track is called "My Apocalypse", a long lasting epic pleasure.
Visions is a real nice and adventurous release from Russia.
