They might be from the country of Finland but when you look at the EP and see one of the members wearing a Ratt t-shirt, there is no doubt that their music comes from the sleeze rock genre that is/was popular in the good old U.S.A. These heavy metal warriors are keeping the banner flying with a raunchy brand of music that elicits abnormal movement and gyration of many a body part as you get swept up in the type of music that infected so many of us metalheads.
With the six tracks that are on this disc, you will get a dose of the anthem like rock and roll that will take you back to an era where the stadiums were filled with fist pumping fans that could sing a long with every song. I hear influences throughout the disc and you will too. Just listen to the title track "Chaos City" and you will instantly think of groups like Ratt and Quiet Riot. "Alive N' Kickin" could have been a Twisted Sister staple. "Otherside" could have come from a multitude of the hair bands that we all remember.
The list goes on and on but the thing that really grabs is that these guys have managed to take all those influences and great music and been able to form it into something they can call their very own. It is hard to listen to this disc and not get a bit nostalgic. Good heavy metal will never go away and these guys are one of the best examples of how the new generation interprets the music of the previous generation. It is good stuff and get ready to party! That is just what they have in mind for you.
