Finish melodic hard rock band Human Temple return, six years after their 2004 debut with the release of Insomnia, with their second release Murder Of Crows, a CD that has left a good impression on myself, as their debut did on many from what I have read.
Human Temple's origins go back to 1998, when the band was formed by vocalist Janne Hurme and drummer Petri Lehto. On this new release Human Temple perform what's needed, no over the top flashy showmanship required, just rock solid musicianship with well composed melodic rocking songs. There's the compulsry impressive guitar solos, memorable choruses, and their vocalist can certainly belt out an impressive tune.
Human Temple aren't doing anything different to what's been heard before, as Murder Of Crows contains the style of classic melodic rock that brings back great memories and provided inspiration to many bands, Human Temple included. Murder Of Crows isn't an album for music fans who stick to mostly heavier metal music, this is mainly of the hard rock variety with plenty of friendly, easy digestible tunes. Human Temple doesn't venture into that heavy territory, but melodic rock fans would be well advised to seek this one out.
