Described as a dense, diverse, difficult to pin down sound could not be further from the truth and would describe this release perfectly. To be honest you would certainly benefit from some chemical or herbal help to fully appreciate the psychedelic, trippy message Terminal Lovers are endeavouring to send. By track four 'Steve Ashby' I was left wondering who would really listen to this voluntarily as all I could make out was a cacophony of random sounds and instruments. Don't get me wrong if this kind of music is your bag then get out and shoplift it but I'm not sure how many people would hand over their hard earned cash for a sound you could hear from a kindergarten full of instruments. With this release limited to 500 copies on a yellow/black swirled vinyl I think even that amount was a little optimistic. Terminal Lovers are without a doubt an excellent spacey, experimental kinda band, their just not my kinda band.
