The initials stand for Made In China. When we see that label over here it usually means that you are dealing with a product of lesser or inferior quality. This disc will do nothing to change that stereotype. This weak, uninspiring offering reminds me more of an old Bay City Rollers album than something from the present day. While it may not be totally bad to reminisce, I wish that they would have chosen a better model.
Even their name is a misnomer. With founder Yvon Serré from Canada on vocals/guitar and Angela Renzetti from Seattle Washington on guitar also, half the band hails from the other side of the planet from China. That is just an example of how this trite piece of work comes off as a contrived effort directed at an age group that will ask their parents for the money to buy it after they wake from their afternoon nap.
This might have been a huge work back when Yvon started his career forty years ago. I just cannot see any reason nor have any desire to put this one in the player again. It is a shame because there is some obvious talent at guitar here, they just need so worthwhile material.
