Finland's Embers Flame has come from a country with a good Rock/metal heritage; have a conversation with any long time music fan mentioning Finland and the likes of Hanoi Rocks, Lordi, Children Of Bodom, and many others are bound to get a mention. Embers Flame takes the Punk /Pop Rock route and to their credit it works very well. Sounding a little like Volbeat I just wish the guitars were a little more powerful. That said its sounds fine for its intended audience and a full album may show more variety. If it's well played inoffensive Punk influenced pop/rock you're after these guys have it.
