16: Zoloft Smile

Occupying a terrain somewhere between the punk rock stylings of Offspring, stoner rock and nu metal, 16 at the very least offer up an energetic, kick-in-the-craw riffs meant to serves as blood-red steak for the suburban teenager's soul. And the rest of us? Can't say. Unless you're really hacked off at the world, unless you're feeling alienated from just about everything and everyone and unless you're plotting some kind of eerie suburban revenge on the world that's done you wrong, 16 probably aren't the band for you.

A little time and even some tenderness could turn them into something besides one more unit raging with the machine.
