Sign of Angels is the debut album of Issa, a Norwegian singer/band. The band play Melodic Power Metal of the finest sort. From start to finish the complete album reminded me of one of my Idols in Metal when I grew up. Next to the American Runaways band, there was a girl in Canada bringing heavy music as the leader of her own band, Lee Aaron. The likeness speaks for itself; great guitars, strong melody lines and yes, as an addition, a beautiful singer with a rocking voice and good looks.
This type of Melodic power metal suits driving your car, mind you, use a cruise control or you'll be exceeding speed limits. The music is AOR.
It's fun listening to such an album, when you're young it might even hold for a while, these days I still enjoy the music but it is not special to me anymore.
Nevermind that Sign Of Angels still is a solid debut album, very likeable for a broad audience.
