Past The Fall: Realise

From London, England comes this three piece thrashy metal band that says they have something new to offer. Well talk is cheap and this three song demo certainly proves the point. Musically they are a competent band that has some very good riffs but nothing out of the ordinary or mind blowing for sure. They do have a very cool knack for mixing in a bit of old school NWOBHM. As I look on their Myspace page I see one wearing a Pantera shirt and another with an Iron Maiden one on, this about sums up the music that they produced. There is nothing terrible about the three songs on here but if they want to appeal to more than drunk Englishmen at the pub on Saturday night then I would find a singer who can do something more than growl in the very limited range that Will Wright shows here. His monotone vocals got very boring before the end of the first song "Behind The Lies". Otherwise this is a band that has some musical ability and I would like to see where they go from here as there is nowhere to head but up.

Track listing:

1. Behind The Lies
