I was devastated by Sunday's news, first only rumours, but then I received an e- mail confirming my worst fears, Dio was dead.
Ronnie James Dio, you were the Man on the silver mountain and never the Last In Line to Stand Up And Shout. You taught The Rock N Roll children to Don't Talk To Strangers and The Children Of The Sea to avoid Falling Off The Edge Of The World. You certainly Could Have Been A Dreamer but in the end you were led down another path because The Mob Rules. However you still continued to Dream Evil and your life took you down some Strange Highways, the power of your voice was always a Mystery to others but you were The King Of Rock And Roll . Now the Neon Knights will never be the same, many people have been left with a pain Straight Through The Heart but we will always look up and see the Rainbow In The Dark looking down from our very own Holy Diver,and although your no longer here We Rock to your music everyday. The good certainly Die Young and whether your in Heaven Or Hell I'm certain it's heaven I just heard the Devil Cry, just keep preaching from that Bible Black, we raise our horns to you Mr Dio, you fought the beast with courage and dignity but it took you from us, Rest In Peace.
