  • Armored Saint, Carpe Noctum. I've been listening to Armored Saint since I bought the cassette of March of the Saint when it first appeared. Since then, I've followed the band through it's twists and turns but I always knew they were awesome. I never saw them live, but this gets me pretty close. This release is short but sweet.

  • Beastie Boys, Paul's Boutique. It might surprise our readers a little, but I love hip hop. I've been listening to this album lately because of it's beats and it's creative and exciting sampling. Fans of the Beastie Boys know this is an often-unappreciated classic. Definitely a good one for driving.

  • Unearthly Trance, Stalking the Ghost. I'm getting ready to review this one and so I'll have more to say later. My first impression is good, though. This one's a keeper.

  • Esben and the Witch, Older Terrors. Slow and powerful, this album makes a good first impression and gets better with each listen. Rachel Davies's vocals are amazing.
